The final arrangements have been made for the tour of Lautner homes to be run by Tours d’Art. The lineup:

In addition, the tour bus will drive by the Malin (chemosphere), Garcia, and Lautner residences. The tour runs all day April 22.

California Home + Design, Sept 2007, features an article on Lautner’s Wolff house in Hollywood, built in 1961 (guest wing, also by Lautner, added in 1963). The article focuses on Michael LaFetra, who had just purchased the house (it now has a different owner), and the interior designer he has used on several of his homes, Kristin Kilmer.

Several organizations in the Los Angeles area sponsor tours of architecturally significant buildings. In December 2006, the magazine art ltd. featured an article about these tours, including personal experience with some of them. The article is currently available here but may expire in the future. We have created a pdf of the article for that uncertain future.
